Tomorrow's People - Jonathen // / by sophie green

"Before Tomorrow’s People I was in a bit of a mess, I had been diagnosed with severe depression after finding out that my brother and my wife had been cheating on me. I lost my job and had an accident in my car; everything happened all at once and I couldn’t cope.

At Tomorrow’s People I was introduced to my coach Nikki and within a week I was in a better place than I had been for years. I was going on courses and going out and about which I hadn’t been for a while up to that point. Within a few months I was doing volunteer work and it felt amazing being back in some sort of work again. I was never in the house on my own again thinking about bad things. Unfortunately after 16 months the company went into liquidation but I was determined to go back to work and was encouraged to keep looking for a job by Nikki.

The future now is looking great - I’m a lot happier than I have been for years thanks to the great support that I have had both at home and at Tomorrow’s People. I will be starting a new job as a clerical officer for the local NHS in early December."
